The Body

My method of building guitars is quite often the same in the early stages: I do the design on a scale of 1:1, draw with the appropriate templates for milling and then make them. For the body I need the following templates:

Making the neck

The neck blank was cut from a beautiful one-piece piece of maple with narrow, laying annual rings. The outer form was marked and worked out with a template. The headstock and also the fingerboard side is finished in the thickness, but the back of the neck remains angular for now. This makes the following work easier.

Electronics

To achieve the most ergonomic arrangement of the knobs and pots, I drew them, cut out the printout with scissors and put it on the appropriate place.

The Finished Instrument

After a good 4 weeks drying time for the paint, the polishing began. What can I say - I was thrilled! Such depth of grain! The look of Natural Binding and black back is perfect.
