The field-tested solution for professional crack repair to tops backs and sides.
The steel string is pushed inside trough the crack line. The patch is strung on that and a stop screw is set. A very stable stainless steel angle carries the tuner with which one winds up the string and glues with slight pressure the wood from the inside against the crack.
The minimum distance from clamp to clamp is 25mm so that a number can be set at once.
