Jazzgitarren Repair of "Lindberg, Schwarzer Frack"

The Lindberg company in Munich had their own models built in the 50-60's by well-known German guitar manufacturers. The piece shown here was one of them. Since the neck was bent, I should install a steel rod here. With light touch-ups, even the somewhat grayed topcoat could shine again. With very fine steel wool (0000), the varnish must be roughened and then polished on the buffing wheel.

Adapted neck base Corpus before the touch-up
Inserted truss rod Glued fretboard

A little material had to be removed from the base of the neck so that the angle would fit again. The neck glued in, new strings on it and ready.
