For more than 30 years I've been engaged in instrument making.

Initially, it was just a hobby - but as often is the case with a passion, in 2005 I ventured  as a professional on the sidelines onto the market. After a career change in 2008 and a very helpful start-up consultant, I founded the company "Rall Guitars & Tools" as a full-time business in 2011.

Since that time I've done hundreds of repairs and modifications and built all kinds of guitars. In 2007 I had the chance to take part in a guitar-making course in Spain with the highly esteemed Jose Romanillos. This intensively shaped my knowledge of classical guitar making.

In addition to the traditional craft of guitar building, I'm not afraid of physics, I use the CNC where it seems appropriate and I find it valuable to question something in order to better understand it or to change or improve it.

Good-sounding instruments are my goal and passion. Intensive talks with customers repeatedly lead to improvements and ultimately lead to a common understanding of the desired instrument.
