Special hollow drill to drill out (extract) broken screws.
To remove a broken tremolo screw, for example, drill a 6mm hole in a piece of wood about 10mm thick and fasten it with screw clamps so that the steel remnant of the screw fits inside the drill. To protect the lacquer, you can also tape it off beforehand.
Using a slow-speed drill, drill down around the defective screw and work the screw free.
The hole is closed with a 6mm wooden dowel that fits the wood and a new one is drilled for the new screw.
