This compact and powerful PID-controller  akes accurate and fast power control of connected heatings.
A very thin Capton covered sensor is used with heat mats so the optimal temperature setting will be reached and kept. The bending process will be much smoother and repeatable by controlled parameters.

The intended use is in temperature-controlled bending of solid wood sides or the gentle heating of instrument parts to soften the glue joint for repair issues.

Please check out what is necessary to do and make a e.g. risk analysis of what can happen and use safety measurements to make your “machine” safe. Examples of this can be:
