The project "Indie"

Recently I built another semi-acoustic guitar. I named it Indie, because it doesn't really fit into the frame "Blues - Jazz - Modern - Heavy". It should be playable everywhere. This time the model of the form was the classic Les Paul, but I added my personal touch. Meanwhile I have seen "my" form in the guitar and bass, but I'm not the first one to deal with this form. So, now to the photo and then to my objectives for the construction.

The project "000"

The production of an acoustic steel-string guitar modelled on a C. F. Martin "OOO", as shown on the following pages, took place between November 2000 and May 2001. As far as possible, I have refrained from using machines.

Dreadnought

After the many experiences through the repair work, I wanted to build a whole acoustic guitar for the first time. Since I had never built a guitar myself before, I needed a lot of information, I surfed the Internet, asked instrument maker friends and read mostly English literature about it.

The conversion project Variax - SG

Here I describe a pioneering act regarding Variax Conversions! Until now, conversions of the Variax 500 or 700 were mostly just conversions of the entire hardware consisting of circuit board, piezo bridge in fender form in another body.

What was the hit in the 80's among flitzfingers a' la Malmsteen and doesn't seem so modern today is still in demand on special guitars.
